If a defect covered by the warranty is found within 2 years from the date of purchase, Moto Market will repair or replace the defective helmet after verifying the defect. The warranty applies to faults in materials or workmanship — not wear and tear or accidental damage.
What's Covered?
- Defects in shell materials or construction that affect the helmet's integrity.
- Failed or detaching retention systems (chin straps, buckles) due to manufacturing faults.
- Interior padding or lining detaching due to faulty bonding — not normal wear.
- Visors or visor mechanisms that fail due to a manufacturing defect.
- Ventilation systems that fail to open or close due to a manufacturing defect.
- Defective materials that prevent normal, safe use of the helmet.
The warranty applies to the original buyer or a person who received the helmet as a gift.
What's Not Covered?
- Regular wear and tear of interior padding, liners, and straps.
- Any damage resulting from an impact or accident — a helmet that has been in a crash must be replaced regardless of visible damage.
- Scratches, scuffs, or paint damage to the helmet's exterior due to drops or improper storage.
- Damage caused by the application of stickers, adhesives, paint, or varnish by the user or third parties.
- Discoloration or damage caused by exposure to harmful chemicals, solvents, or fuels.
- Discoloration or fading caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat sources.
- Color changes in fluorescent graphics on some models due to direct, prolonged UV exposure.
- Damage resulting from improper use, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.
- Any modifications or alterations to the helmet made by the user or third parties.
- Use of incompatible accessories or accessories not approved for the specific helmet model.
- Consumable parts intended for periodic replacement (e.g., visor tear-offs, breath guards).
How to Submit a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, please contact us at info@pilot.gr with the following:
- Your order number or proof of purchase.
- A clear description of the defect.
- Photos clearly showing the defect.
If you purchased your helmet through a retail partner, please contact that retailer directly to initiate your warranty claim.
What Happens Next?
We review all claims within a few business days. If your claim is approved, we will:
- Repair the helmet, or
- Replace it with the same or equivalent model, or
- Offer a suitable resolution if repair or replacement is not possible.
Return shipping is covered by Moto Market if the warranty claim is validated.
Important Safety Notice
A motorcycle helmet that has been involved in an impact or accident — even if no visible damage is apparent — must be replaced immediately. The internal protective foam may be permanently compressed and the helmet will no longer offer adequate protection. This type of replacement is not covered under warranty but is essential for your safety.
Applicable Law
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable Greek and European consumer protection law, including EU Directive 2019/771 on the sale of goods. Nothing in this warranty limits your legal rights.
